Why is there a croaking sound when the wiper wipes the glass?
1. The wiper croaks when it is up
It means that the wiper frame is twisted upwards, and the wiper is stopped in the middle position (after the car is turned off, pull the wiper control handle toward the steering wheel), then gently lift it up, wrap the steel frame with cloth or soft things, and use a wrench or pliers Twist the part holding the package downwards a few times, try to scratch after resetting, the abnormal noise will be much smaller, if it is, repeat it once until the abnormal noise is eliminated. If it goes down, you need to twist in the opposite direction until the abnormal noise is eliminated!
Note: the wiper has abnormal noise in the up and down direction, then the wiper needs to be replaced
2. Problems with wiper blades themselves
The wiper blade is a rubber product. It will age and become hard after a period of use. It is more obvious in winter. If the wiper blade is not clean, the simplest and most effective way is to replace it with a new wiper blade. Generally, the wiper blades are recommended to be replaced every one to two years.
3. There is a foreign body between the wiper blade box and the windshield glass
When the wiper is turned on, there will be a sharp sound of friction between the wiper blade and the front windshield glass. The owner can check and clean the wiper blade or foreign matter under the wiper to ensure that the wiper blade is clean.
